Cookie Policy

• •kostry_session keeps you signed in. Scripts on the page can’t read it, it is only sent to Kostry, and it expires after 7 days or when you sign out.
• •kostry_signed_in holds only the value “1” while you are signed in, so pages can show your signed-in view before they finish loading. It contains no personal data and expires with your session.

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you across other websites.

The “Continue with Google” button is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies under Google’s cookie policy.

• •Drafts: while you write a story or chapter, your unsent draft is saved in your browser’s local storage so it survives a closed tab. It never leaves your device until you publish, and it is removed when you do.
• •Read counts: session storage remembers which chapters you opened in the current tab, so a read isn’t counted twice. It clears when you close the tab.
• •Offline copies: pages you visit are cached by our service worker so Kostry keeps working without a connection.

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block kostry_session, you won’t be able to sign in. Because we only use cookies that are strictly necessary, we don’t need to ask for consent.
